Sandy received her Master's Degree in Professional Counseling and her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Sandy counsels children, adolescents, adults, couples, and groups. She has worked in the medical field, and is a Second Degree Reiki Master.
Her clinical interests include:
Play Therapy with children
Teaching Relaxation, Meditation, and Acupressure Techniques
Stress Management
Marriage and Family Therapy
Jim counsels individual adults as well as couples. He holds a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology, and is Certified as a Hypnotherapist and Anger Resolution Therapist. He is also trained to provide Christian /spiritual counseling for those who make that specific request.
Our practice sponsors counseling interns from several universities, some local and some out of state. They represent both doctoral and master's level students with specialty backgrounds as diverse as their own. All interns work under the direct supervision of Dr. Spillman. Our intern program is designed to offer services at a discounted rate for those who would like counseling services but do not have sufficient means to see one of our other therapists. Please feel free to write and ask about our current internship staff and their qualifications to help.
